What Is The Net Size And Strength of SolarNets?

SolarNets is constructed of high strength #18 netting, with 5/16-inch border rope.  Cross-ropes are inserted on approximately 6-foot intervals to minimize net sag and stretching when under tension.

The breaking strength of SolarNets exceeds 190 lbs.

In net installations where multiple nets need to overlap to avoid creation of unprotected gaps, there is a second perimeter rope installed 12" inside the border. This provides connection points to link neighboring nets together enabling them to to act as one continuous protective net.
