Warranty Policy
Warranty Statement
(Revised May 20, 2024)
Products are covered by a limited pro-rated warranty against manufacturing defects. Products must be used in normal application, in the original installation site. Nets are not designed to be exposed to snow, and should be deinstalled seasonally. Failures caused by wear and tear or extreme weather exposure such as snow load, hurricanes or tornados are not covered under this warranty. Deterioration of metallic components due to corrosion is not covered under this warranty. The term of the warranty is 5-years. This warranty applies to the owner of the installation site, and is not transferable to 3rd parties.
During the 5-year warranty period SolarNets will provide replacement modules for those broken while nets are properly installed over the modules. This coverage is limited to two (2) modules at a specific site, replaced over the warranty period, and applies to the like-kind replacement modules only, not removal or installation costs. Module substitutions may be made at SolarNets discretion if the original module type is not longer available at nominal prices through normal wholesale distributers. Users must provide photographs of all solar nets following installation to document net installation. At time of damage claim, photo(s) must be provided showing the net and the broken solar module still in place. Failure to provide initial installation or post-damage photos may result in warranty claim rejection.
Credit for premature net failures shall be applied to replacement purchases at a rate of 1/60 of the actual purchase price for each month of shortfall during the 5-year warranty period. Replacement purchases will be subject to current prices as of the date of purchase.
This warranty applies only to the purchased Net or Shade components only. Removal and installation cost are not included in this warranty.
Seller is not liable for loss-of-use expenses, consequential damages, or losses of any type.
